# What is Tilt?

Tilt is a decentralized platform built upon Convex Finance which includes **tCVX** and **TILT** tokens.

Eligible Users can amplify tCVX earnings up to **5x** via a dual-boost system. Tilt aims to enhance the standard Convex experience by offering:

* Liquid tCVX without the 16-week lock
* Boosted staking via a dual-boost system (Time + TILT Weight)
* Delegation of TILT locks to support vault strategies and unlock shared performance fees
* Transparent, contract-governed reward logic designed for sustainability

By separating the mechanics of staking and boosting, TILT enables a more flexible, composable, and capital-efficient framework — giving users and protocols greater control over how rewards are earned.

{% hint style="warning" %}
This GitBook contains technical explanations which are meant to supplement the TILT website at tilt.do. That website contains some detailed terms, disclaimers and comments on risks. The GitBook should be read together with the contents of the website and with those terms, disclaimers and risks in mind. For example, where the Gitbook mentions projected APR, the terms on the website explain what factors might affect those projected returns. To any extent the GitBook is inconsistent with the website, the website prevails.
